2024 WSO Fall Convention & Exhbition

Friday October 4 – Sunday October 6, 2024
“Colorful Connections in the Capitol”

Annual Art Exhibit at the Elsinore Gallery

This exhibit opens on the 5th of October and will feature 80 juried watercolor paintings from the Society’s 2024 season. A public reception will be held that afternoon from 3-6 PM with most of the WSO artists joining us from 4-5:30 PM.

The paintings will be furthered adjudicated at the gallery and will be awarded special recognitions including Best of Show, 2nd through 6th place and up to 12 Awards of Distinction. In addition, the attendees a the reception will vote for a Peoples’ Choice award.

Iain Stewart is a Scots born watercolor artist who has been living in the US since a young age. He is a signature member of the American and National Watercolor Societies among other state and international entities. He has also recently been inducted into the Whiskey Painters of America.
