Artist Biography:

I have been painting since around 2003. I have had my art in multiple shows and events in the Salem area. These include seasonal shows at the Elsinore Framing Gallery, the world beat festival. I have also had paintings showcased at the Salem hospital.

Artist Statement:

Ever since moving to the United States from Guatemala, I have loved the natural beauty and diverse settings the country has to offer. I mainly use acrylic paint to create my pieces on canvas, while using natural and earthy colors such as greens and browns. When painting, I try to capture a scene in a way that feels alive. I want the viewer to feel a sense of calmness and peace
